About Garey Thurlow

My work ranges from canvass acrylic medias to new photomontages peices which i have been recently working on, i produce because i love what i do and i have a lust for everything exspresional and creative.The older work of mine are the canvass paintings which i wanted to look like prints in the way they were shown on the canvas but i decides to paint because the process was alot more personal and really comes out in the final product.The paintings are largely of music and film idols of mine with a couple of mixed media peices thrown in for good measure.The newer work of mine i made while studying at college, i stumbled across a style called photomontage and i fell in love with the possibilities of what i could do within my practices.These works are more graphical and professional as i like to say which im very pleased with and is pioneering the way for me to carry on producing my art this way hopefully for years to come.

sept 05 studied a btec national diploma in art and design at ucca rochster and currently waitiing to enroll in uni of london at camberwell to study an fda design practice course.
